Washington, 14. Half the American embassies in the world are on the alert because of the demonstrations that are expected to take place after the Islamic prayer on Friday. The United States remains the target of more or less peaceful protests against the film produced by a group of Copts in California and judged to be offensive by Islam. From Libya to Egypt, from Bangladesh to Iran, from Tunis to Kuwait, from Algeria to Yemen negative reactions are spreading, despite the ever stronger hypothesis that the film was probably only a pretext that a network of extremists exploited in the attempt to trigger a spiral of violence.
