The Pope's newspaper hot off the press even overseas
“L'Osservatore Romano” will again be hot off the press in the hands of its American readers. Starting Wednesday, July 25, the weekly edition in English will also be printed in Huntington, Indiana, and distributed from there across North America.
The project is the result of collaboration with the well-known U.S. Publishing House Our Sunday Visitor, under the direction of Greg Erlandson, who is also editor of the highly popular national Catholic periodical “OSV Newsweekly”.
Now subscribers on that side of the ocean will receive the newspaper without having to wait at least 15 days. Every Wednesday, as soon as the newspaper has been put to bed, the pages once sent to the Vatican Printing Press will also be sent electronically to the OSV press. Our Sunday Visitor will reproduce the weekly edition exactly as it is printed in the Vatican. OSV will also be exclusively responsible for subscriptions, customer service and marketing support for the Vatican newspaper throughout North America.
