Canadian Bishops launch webpage for Kateri canonisation

The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops on Wednesday announced that they have added a special webpage on the CCCB website for events in Rome and in North America surrounding the canonization of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha.
Blessed Kateri will become the first Native American to be officially honoured as a saint when she is canonised by Pope Benedict in Rome on October 21, 2012.
The CCCB has established a special Secretariat to gather information on all the activities surrounding the canonisation, and will make this available for pilgrims in Rome, and others who wish to follow the events from home.
